📢 Smarter Excel Integration in Goals

We’ve enhanced how you connect your goals to online Excel sheets in Teamflect! 🚀
This update makes it much easier to connect your goals directly to the data that matters, without scrolling through long lists or worrying about missing shared files. You can now seamlessly link performance goals to real-time Excel data for more accurate tracking and alignment.

You can now use a search bar to quickly find the right Excel file by name, saving you time and effort. 🔍
Shared Online Excels
: Any Excel sheets shared with you online will automatically appear as options when linking a goal. đź“‚

You can now make Additional Comments mandatory for specific answers in rating and multiple-choice questions.

Why it matters:
Ensure reviewers add context where it’s most needed (e.g., low scores or “No” responses), leading to richer, more actionable feedback.
How it works
  1. Enable Ask for additional comments in your question settings.
  2. Select which ratings/options require a comment.
  3. Users can’t submit until those comments are filled in.
Stronger insights, less vague feedback.
We’ve made several improvements to Task Groups in the Admin Center! 🎉
What’s New:
  • âś… Assign tasks within a Task Group to different users
Example:
When onboarding a new employee, you can assign one task to the new hire, another to their manager, and a third to IT — all from the same task group.
  • âś… New task features inside Task Groups
  • Add checklists to break down complex tasks.
  • Attach files for clarity and documentation.
  • Use labels to categorize and track tasks.
  • Apply lock for editing to keep assignments consistent.
How it works:
Visit the Admin Center and the Tasks module.
Open up the Task Groups.

Select or create a new tasks group.

Assign the task to the appropriate person by clicking on the pen icon next to the task. Continue this step for all of the tasks.

Why it matters:
Admins and HR can now manage structured processes — like onboarding, compliance, or project kick-offs — with more flexibility. This ensures each stakeholder has clear responsibilities while keeping everything organized under one task group.
HR Use Case:
For employee onboarding, HR can assign:
  • A checklist of paperwork to the new hire,
  • Training-related tasks to the manager,
  • Equipment setup tasks to IT.
All of this can be tracked under one task group, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
We’ve improved the left-side navigation menu in Review Templates! 🎉
With this update:
  • You can now quickly see which
    sections are enabled or disabled
    .
  • The left menu provides a clearer,
    more intuitive overview
    of each step.
  • This makes it faster to
    manage and configure
    even complex review templates.

Why it matters:
Admins and HR teams can instantly confirm which sections are active before launching a review cycle. This saves time, prevents mistakes, and ensures only the intended steps are included.
HR Use Case:
When setting up a performance review with multiple steps, HR can quickly check which sections are enabled. This avoids missing critical components and makes the review setup process more reliable.
To make review launches faster and easier, we’ve added a new way for admins to start one-time reviews directly from the app.
What’s new?
From the Reviews page, click New review > One-time review to open a new popup and send reviews without needing to go through the Admin Center.

How it works:
  • Select reviewees manually. Their managers will auto-fill as reviewers (editable).
  • Add multiple rows to send multiple reviews at once.
  • You’ll see a confirmation popup before sending and a success message after.
  • A direct link to the Admin Center is included for detailed management.
  • Works on mobile too—just with a cleaner layout.

You can now filter users based on their most recent 9-Box evaluation when assigning participants in:
Simply use the new “9-Box Placement” filter under the "Filter users by attributes" section in the user selection modal.
🔍 Filter options include:
  • All 9-Box placement values (based on your organization's most recent evaluations)
  • Not evaluated (for users who haven't received a 9-Box evaluation yet)
ℹ️ This filter is always available, regardless of whether 9-Box evaluations are shown on user profiles.
