📊 “9-Box” Isn’t Always 9 Boxes Anymore
As organizations started customizing grid sizes beyond the traditional 3×3 structure, one thing became clear:
Calling everything a “9-Box” no longer made much sense.
That’s why admins can now fully customize the name of their grid templates.

—whatever fits your organization’s framework best.
The custom name will now automatically appear across the employee experience, including:
- Review results
- PDF exports
- My Team views
- Evaluation pop-ups
- New/Edit evaluation flows
A few important details:
- If no custom name is entered, “9-Box” remains the default
- Custom naming applies per template
- Names are not auto-translated
- Supports up to 35 characters
- Available on the Professional Plan
