📝 Employees Can Now Start Their Own Reviews in Teamflect

One of the most requested flexibility improvements for Reviews is now live.

With this update, organizations can now allow:

Employees to initiate reviews for themselves
Managers to start reviews for their direct reports
Different review templates for different audiences

—all with fully configurable admin controls.

What’s new?

Admins can now independently control:

Manager-initiated reviews
Self-initiated reviews

This creates much more flexibility than the previous all-or-nothing setup.

Admins only
Admins & managers
Everyone

Users only see templates they actually have permission to use, making the review creation experience cleaner and less confusing.

Add notes to reviewers
Launch the process without admin involvement

Meanwhile, managers can still launch reviews for their teams, and admins retain full organization-wide control.
