Goals - Adding New Measurement Types
complete
Teamflect Product Team
We will be adding two new measurement types: 'Stay Above' and 'Stay Below.' These options will allow you to track progress more accurately by defining targets and optional thresholds, ensuring your progress calculation reflects whether values stay above or below specific points, with or without a threshold.

Add progress type for reducing a value from X to Y (e.g. 5% loss to 0.4%)

Currently, progress tracking in Teamflect is mainly geared toward goals that increase in value. But many companies also set goals to reduce metrics – like cost, error rates, or waste – from X to Y.
Adding a "reduce from X to Y" progress type would make it easier to track these goals visually and communicate progress clearly across teams. This small change could make a big impact for users in operations, finance, compliance, and beyond.
If you're also driving improvements through reduction goals, vote to support this!

Very important especially for startups, not for profits etc

Add progress type for “stay above value” goals (e.g. uptime > 99%)

Not all goals are about increasing or decreasing numbers—some are about maintaining high standards. For example, keeping uptime above 99%, customer satisfaction above 90%, or safety scores above a set threshold.
Right now, Teamflect doesn’t support a clear way to track “stay above” goals. Adding this progress type would help teams monitor and communicate these stability targets more effectively.
If you track goals where consistency matters, vote to make this happen!

Add progress type for “stay below value” goals (e.g. response time < 2s)

Some goals aren’t about reaching a number, but staying consistently under one—like keeping response times below 2 seconds, defect rates under 1%, or support ticket backlogs under 10.
Teamflect doesn’t currently support this kind of target tracking. A “stay below value” progress type would be a huge help for teams focused on performance, quality, and risk management.
If your team also aims to keep things under control, vote to support this idea!
